HOW IT STARTED

Ria Kanakari is one of the most distinguished makeup artists in Greece, based in Athens, with a rich professional experience spanning 18 years. She has trained under some of the most renowned professionals in the industry.

Her love for painting began at a very young age, showcasing her artistic nature and innate creativity. This creativity later became the foundation of her dream—Professional Makeup. She began her studies at the Technical Vocational School (TEE) of Piraeus and continued her education in Stockholm, where she collaborated with esteemed artists.

With a talented hand and impeccable technique, she has worked with leading figures in the artistic and television world, creating looks that stand out for their aesthetics and attention to detail. Her unique approach to makeup has established her as one of the most reliable and creative professionals in the field.

  • In 2017, she entered the field of education, teaching makeup and sharing her knowledge and experience with young people who have a love and passion for the art of makeup. Over the years, the services she offers in beauty, fashion, and bridal makeup—as well as in education—have been of the highest quality. Her work is based on reliability, punctuality, precision, attention to detail, and discretion, but above all, on her genuine love for the industry she serves.

    After 18 years of experience, in 2023 she decided to establish her own makeup school: RK Beauty Concept by Ria Kanakari—a beautiful space created with love, care, and passion. It’s ready to welcome anyone who wishes to learn the art of makeup and enter the beauty industry.
